Iryna Manukovska is a multidisciplinary artist, journalist, essayist, and painter.
She was born in Ukraine in Kyiv in a Jewish-Ukrainian family. Her grandmother has survived the massacres of Babi Yar.
Since the pandemic of the 2020 Iryna lives in Cyprus and is a part of a volunteer community of Ukrainians and island residents who help refuges from her Motherland to settle down her.
“Since russia invasion on the 24th of February, it was hard to create something. Death only was on my mind. While we were doing peaceful protests to support Ukraine and singing hymns, the idea of the project occurred. To show the future of my country - newborns of war and their Moms. Who keeps on bringing to life in the deadly environment”. The project joined stories and visualization of the growth and prosperity of future Ukraine.
